Mary Rose Ech
Mary Rose has always been a lover of nature. She moved to Tucson 33 years ago, in the spring of the year, and immediately started taking pictures of desert landscaping. Her favorite subjects are the animals, birds and of course nature settings. Drawing and painting had always been a desire of hers. A family of five took most of her time, along with her career of nursing. She said when she retired, art would become her enjoyment. To make a long story short, five years ago she started taking classes in Pastel painting and loved it. Painting a variety of different subjects she progressed quite well. Learning techniques in painting birds and flowers are an interesting challenge to her. For the last three or four years she has been working in Acrylics and has decided to concentrate on this medium. As she will admit she is still a novice and learning about her craft is a never ending pursuit, which she thoroughly enjoys. Art has become a priority in her life.
